Have a look at a critique by a present owner of this keyboard

Nathan A.E.
I was undecided between Yamaha YPG 235 and 535. I now own the YPG 235 and it seems that if I am really missing out anything, it is just twelve keys, and so I am not feeling even an ounce of buyer's remorse for choosing the less expensive 235. This keyboard is very uncomplicated to operate and has more sounds than I ever know what to do with.

The graded soft touch keys is a good changeover for an individual who is so used to synthesizer style keyboard. The YPG 235 features USB connectivity and general MIDI compatibility, as well as a big selection of high quality voices, This keyboard is worth every dime that I paid for.
